Project Management
Each research project is assigned a Project Manager who is your main point of contact for the study and responsible for co-ordinating the activities of the ORION study team.
Our open communication policy means you have access to the Project Manager and to the other members of the study team as required.
We believe it is important to ensure that regular communication is maintained throughout the entire duration of the project.
When we begin a new project one of the first tasks is to devise a communication plan detailing:
- who will communicate
- to whom they will communicate
- how often they will communicate
- the medium that will be used (face-to-face, phone, email, web server etc)
Our Project Managers are supported by the most senior and experienced personnel within ORION. This occurs informally on an ‘ad hoc’ day-to-day basis and in the more structured setting of Project Review Meetings. These monthly meetings provide a forum in which each Project Manager presents all the studies they are working on to ORION’s Senior Management – they are encouraged to share both the challenges and the success stories. This provides an ideal learning environment and also ensures that issues can be rapidly identified and resolved.
